Are you ready to put your artistic skills to the test? We're excited to announce the Salamander Stroll Tee Shirt Design Contest, in celebration of Salamander Saturday! Hosted by The Foundation for the Conservation of Salamanders, this virtual 5k run (or walk) is not only about breaking a sweat but also showing your support for salamander conservation.

Design Guidelines: Create a captivating and original design that embodies the spirit of the Salamander Stroll. Whether it's a realistic depiction, a stylized interpretation, or an imaginative play on the event name, ensure that your design showcases the charm and uniqueness of these fascinating creatures. Your artwork should incorporate either the event name (Salamander Stroll) or Salamander Saturday.
Prizes: The winner will not only earn bragging rights but will also receive complimentary event registration for the Salamander Stroll! As a bonus, they'll snag some awesome swag, complete with an exclusive event shirt to proudly showcase their winning design.
How to Enter: Entries are closed for the Salamander Stroll shirt design. Go to the FCSal Bonfire page to order shirts from Salamander Saturday 2023 and to order a Salamander Stroll once it becomes available!

What is Salamander Saturday?
Salamander Saturday is an initiative started by FCSal to raise awareness about salamanders, their habitats, and their role in the ecosystem. We encourage organizations around the world to hold an event on this day and to share their events with FCSal through social media using #SalamanderSaturday, thereby promoting global unity in the effort to protect salamanders.
Interested in hosting an event?
You can help by creating a day for international salamander awareness. Your Salamander Saturday event should be catered to your organizations strengths and schedules; it can be as simple as hosting an education table, or as involved as a fundraising event. FCSal will be partnering with American Association of Zookeepers (AAZK), Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation (PARC), and Amphibian Survival Alliance to reach a broad audience of amphibian lovers and to make Salamander Saturday a success!
If you would like to participate in Salamander Saturday, please email us at sallysat@fcsal.org and share your plans with us. Make sure to send us the event tile/program name, organization hosting, location/time, and website (if applicable).
All Salamander Saturday events will be promoted via FCSal.org and our Facebook page, so please take pictures and have fun spreading the word about salamander conservation! If you would like to host a fundraiser for FCSal, we would be happy to supply you with necessary materials including our Chopsticks for Salamanders stainless steel chopsticks.
